Transition Year First Aid is an important component of a students learning in school. This course prepares students on how to carry out life saving procedures should they ever arise in both the public or at home. During the course students are educated through a process of powerpoint, practical demonstration and with team role play practicals.

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation 

  • Automated External Defibrillator 

  • Heart Attack 

  • Asthma 

  • Panic Attack 

  • Choking 

  • Fainting

  • Anaphylaxis

  • Bleeding & Bandaging 

  • Hypo & Hyperthermia 

  • Drowning  (Cold Water, Primary & Secondary) 

  • Seizures 

  • Concussion & Compression 

  • Fractures
